Robert Demmett Receives “Best Accountant of the Year” Honor

Robert Demmett, Eisner & Lubin Tax Managing Partner Named Best Accountant of the Year by The New York Enterprise Report

On Tuesday, June 29, 2010, The New York Enterprise Report hosted its inaugural Best Accountants and Attorneys for Growing Businesses Awards. The event was created to celebrate those exceptional advisors who go beyond the call of duty to help small business owners and entrepreneurs continue to flourish and drive growth in our region.

Taking home one of the prized awards for the evening was Robert Demmett, Eisner & Lubin’s Tax Managing Partner.

Bob Demmett’s story is one of loyalty, perseverance and talent. He was introduced to the firm in 1981 while attending Pace University. At the time, Bob worked part-time as an intern in the tax department. Once he graduated in 1984, he was offered a full-time position as a tax reviewer.

Throughout the years, Bob was promoted to Tax Manager in 1990 and then to Partner just two years after earning a reputation as a hard-worker, quick-study and tenacious accountant. He was assigned the more ‘complex’ returns and enjoyed structuring solutions that best addressed the clients’ needs. Bob continues to polish his skills and shine, both as a leader for the firm and mentor to junior staff. He consistently delivers technical excellence along with exceptional client service.

In 2007, Bob was asked to assume the position of Tax Managing Partner and was elected by the partnership to serve on the firm’s executive committee. He was re-elected in 2009 and is currently involved with the rebranding and positioning of Eisner & Lubin to provide consistency to current clients and attract new ones.

We congratulate Bob on his achievements and this honor.
