Professor Samuel A. Dyckman has been affiliated with EisnerLubin llp as a part-time employee and tax consultant for over 65 years. He joined the NYSSCPA in 1947, and became a member of its Taxation Committee.

“Professor Dyckman has devoted most of his career to instructing and helping students as well as the practicing professionals understand the complex world of US Taxation.  His seminars are often given before fully-packed audiences and he has become the standard against which other lecturers are often judged,” said Robert Simon, CPA, and Managing Partner of EisnerLubin.

Professor Dyckman was designated Professor Emeritus at Baruch College, CUNY, having taught there for over 40 years. He received the Baruch College Presidential Excellence Award in Teaching upon his retirement, and a certificate of appreciation from Rockland Community College for teaching the annual Tax Update and Review seminars for over 20 years.

Just recently, he won the “Dr. Emanuel Saxe Outstanding CPA in Education” award by the NYSSCPA.  He was also awarded the “Outstanding Discussion Leader” award from the Foundation of Accounting Education as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Currently, Professor Dyckman travels around the country lecturing for the National Tax Institute, the Accountants Continuing Education Society and other private professional organizations on the current state of the ever-changing tax laws.  He has also lectured for the AICPA and the Minnesota Society of CPAs.

Professor Dyckman has written two books, Study Guide to Bittker & Eustice’s Federal Income Taxation and the Manual of Corporate Liquidations.  He has contributed numerous articles and monographs to various professional organizations.

Professor Dyckman received his BBA in Accounting from CCNY in 1941 and an LLB and LLM in Taxation from NYU Law School.
Sam is married and has two children, five grandchildren and resides in Great Neck, NY.
