A specialist in developing bundled solutions for high net worth families, Ray marshals the firm’s expertise in tax management and accounting, wealth design and transfer, and philanthropic planning and administrative services, and integrates these with tailored wealth management solutions appropriate for each individual family situation.

Our collegial and supportive professional culture, coupled with our relentless pursuit of technical excellence and top notch client service, makes us a perfect choice for a Family Wealth practice,” says Ray. He adds, “I joined the firm because I was one of EisnerLubin’s most satisfied clients at one time. I know, first hand, the quality and attention to detail that clients receive and I am very proud to have been asked to become part of it.”

Ray joined EisnerLubin in 2009 from the Merrill Lynch Private Banking and Investment Group where he provided tax planning and compliance services for ultra-high net worth clients and served as a tax advisor to Merrill’s private wealth advisors. Prior to his tenure with Merrill Lynch, Ray was a senior vice president of Tax Consulting Services at U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management. At various points during his career, Ray has also been associated with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Bessemer Trust Company. He is a New York licensed CPA/Personal Financial Specialist and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designee.

Outside the firm, Ray sits on the “Family Office” and the “Taxation of Individuals” Committees of the New York State Society of CPA’s and on the “Not-for-Profit” and “Tax Policy” Committees of the Long Island Association. Ray enjoys teaching, lecturing and writing about tax and financial planning topics. His article “Planning Options for the Philanthropic Client” was recently published in Practical Tax Strategies, a professional journal produced by Thomson Reuters. Ray serves on the board of the Binghamton University Alumni Association, the NY Philanthropic Advisors Network (NYPAN) as well as on the boards of several charitable and civic groups in his hometown of Massapequa, NY.

He earned his BA in Economics and BS in Accounting from Binghamton University and is currently studying for his accreditation by the American College as a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy®. An avid bicyclist, and struggling beginning guitarist, Ray is married with two children.
