James Rockwitz joined the EisnerLubin team in 1986, became a partner that same year and has served on the firm’s executive committee. When EisnerLubin became a division of WithumSmith+Brown, PC, effective November 1, 2011, Jim became a partner of WS+B. He specializes in accounting and auditing services, offering professional advice to real estate, manufacturing, distribution, finance and service companies.
In Jim’s opinion, unwavering client loyalty is the best indicator of EisnerLubin’s professional accomplishment. “Growing our practice but never losing our personal relationships with clients is the foundation of the firm’s success,” he says.
Jim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also affiliated with the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, where he presently serves on the Peer Review Committee and has served on the SEC Practice Committee and Entertainment Sports Accounting Committee.
Jim received his B.B.A. in accounting from Iona College. He is an avid traveler who has set foot on six continents. His favorite destinations have included Bhutan, Tibet, Myanmar, Syria and Botswana among others.
Jim and his wife have two grown daughters and reside in Queens.
