Alfred Erdmann has been with EisnerLubin llp since 1994 and became a partner in 2004. Since EisnerLubin became a division of WithumSmith+Brown, PC, effective November 1, 2011, Al is now a partner with WS+B. Specializing in accounting and auditing services for individuals and privately held entities, he has developed his expertise in the real estate, professional service and pension plan industries. He is licensed to practice in both New York and California and assists clients on both coasts.

Al is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accou ntants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). He is a frequent speaker at various industry seminars and a former Adjunct Lecturer of Accounting at Queens College of the City University of New York. Al is dedicated to expanding the firm’s presence on Long Island and concentrates on educating businesses and individuals on the ever-evolving landscape within the accounting industry.

Al has been responsible for administering EisnerLubin’s training program, including curriculum development and conducting seminars. “There is a tremendous breadth of knowledge among the partners of the firm,” he notes. “Besides sharing their expertise with clients, partners support the development of the firm’s professional staff through internal training and mentoring.” He is also involved in the staff recruitment and on-boarding processes.

Al received a B.A. in Accounting & Information Systems and Economics as well as a Master’s degree in Accounting from Queens College.

Outside the office, besides his wife and two children, Al’s passion is baseball.  He volunteers extensive time with his local Little League, as a Board member, coach, groundskeeper and umpire.  His umpiring efforts have taken him not only around the tri-state area, but to Kutno, Poland, to officiate the European Regional Finals.  The winner of that tournament travels to Williamsport, PA for the Little League World Series.
